Requirement: A target rifle shooting club in West Wales was hoping to attract new members and needed a brochure to outline its club facilities and benefits.
The budget for production was very limited and so it was decided to design the publication for internal desk top publishing print runs as well as using black and white photocopies of the same when required.
Solution: A four page A5 brochure was produced in colour with text, photographs and illustrations by Sensible Publications. The written content tells all that is needed for joining plus an essence of the UK laws governing shooting. Also, it describes the various disciplines of shooting available at the club grounds.
Benefit: The brochure is printed on a colour laser printer in-house when required and is photocopied for use at county shows and club “open” days.
Copies have been distributed by the club to various sporting goods shops around West Wales. A copy is now available on the club’s website in .jpeg format for a faster download.
It is understood that the local Police are using the brochure too as a reference when people make enquiries regarding shooting clubs in their vicinity.
