Requirement: Edward McNaught-Davis’ other business, which is integrated with Sensible Publications, is called Inspirational Art4u and concerns the marketing of his fine art paintings and illustrations.
Edward’s requirement was to set up a “virtual” art gallery from which to market and sell his artwork on a global basis. A secondary need was to learn how to write a web site from scratch so that Edward could control its ongoing maintenance and without the reliance of a third party web designer.
Solution: Edward chose to learn a “WYSIWYG” HTML editor, with an excellent Graphical User Interface, which includes supporting photo editing and drawing modules.
Edward’s main art site can be viewed at www.inspirationalart4u.biz and it shows over 50 of his fine art paintings and cartoons. Edward’s other art site is still under construction and bears the same name but under a .co.uk extension. The content for this latter site will be different to the former.
Benefit: More viewers have seen and purchased Edward McNaught-Davis’ art from around the World than he could have hoped had he relied solely upon traditional land based gallery methods.
