Requirement: Hafan-y-Coed (meaning “Haven in the trees”) is a Spiritualist Research and Retreat Centre situated near Swansea, South Wales. “HYC” as it’s commonly known required a promotional paper booklet describing who they are, what they are, why they exist for the benefit of others and where they are located.
The booklet, once published, needed to be maintained in-house so that any evolving changes could be amended easily.
Solution: Sensible Publications set to work by spending time researching the site, its services, its teachings and taking quality digital photographs. The A5 booklet is in full colour and comprises four pages and it includes useful travel directions plus a detailed road map. The latter map was originated by Sensible Publications to avoid the necessary permissions from a third party cartographer.
The essential messages contained within the booklet emphasise the course and retreat services on offer. Also, an eye catching logo was created for them as well as a catch phase of, “HYC is the place to B”.
Benefit: The booklet was installed on their computer network by Sensible Publications so that HYC can control its production thus avoiding 3rd party printing costs. The booklet was then up-loaded onto their web site in a .pdf format so that interested viewers could download a copy for themselves.
